Billing FAQ

What are AI credits?+

One balance shared by every AI feature — AI customer service, Copilot, knowledge import, insights and drafts. Credits are used according to the work the AI actually does, so there's no fixed price per message: a quick question uses less than a long consultation, and context the AI has just read is reused at a lower cost — the busier a conversation, the less each reply uses on average.

How do I know which plan I need?+

Start on Free — no credit card. Your dashboard's Usage page shows exactly how many credits each AI feature uses and, based on your recent pace, forecasts whether your credits will last the billing period. If it says you're running short, upgrade or add a credit pack any time.

What happens when my credits run out?+

AI pauses — your customers still reach you, and their conversations go straight to your team. We never charge you automatically. We notify you at 80% and 100% of your monthly credits, and you can add a credit pack or upgrade any time to switch AI back on immediately.

Do unused credits roll over?+

Your plan's monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period and don't roll over. Credits from a credit pack never expire, and are only used once the month's plan credits are gone.

What happens to my credits when I change plans?+

Upgrades take effect immediately: your credits for the current period rise to the new plan's allowance, and what you've already used still counts. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Credit packs you've bought are unaffected by plan changes.

Does testing the AI use credits?+

Yes — test conversations in the sandbox are metered exactly like real ones, so what you see while testing is what you'll use in production.

Are Meta / WhatsApp messaging fees paid in credits?+

No. Credits only cover AI. Meta bills its WhatsApp messaging fees to you directly, and we add no markup.
